Who is that lady?
One year ago, I cashed in my savings (which I wasn't going to live to spend anyway) and had gastric bypass surgery because I simply could not lose weight no matter how strictly I dieted and exercised. It was a lost cause. I figured I'd wear slip-on shoes with no socks for the rest of my life and never be able to pick anything off the floor ever.
A year later I think it was well worth it. I'm almost at my goal size and I feel like a girl again (although don't look at me close up because I need a face lift).
I will never get diabetes or heart disease. I'm saving my insurance company a fortune. Screw them.
Down 20 sizes. Not bad for a 55 year old, eh?
