Archdiocese kicks children of lesbians out of private school

If you've been reading this blog lately, you will see how much we rail against the blatant hypocrisy of the RC Church. Can't help it. I'm still recovering from being Catholic.

This latest piece really takes the cake.

From Raw Story:

"Last week, officials “at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School, acting at the direction of the Archdiocese of Denver,” decided to not re-enroll two unnamed children because their parents were lesbians."

The official response is that the church isn't claiming that homosexuals are less loved by god or that children of homosexuals are less loved by god...

BUT in an op ed, this is how they explain it:

"But what the Church does teach is that sexual intimacy by anyone outside marriage is wrong; that marriage is a sacramental covenant; and that marriage can only occur between a man and a woman.”"

Gawd forbid the RCC should look in the mirror, straighten up its own affairs and STFU in the meantime.

And isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?
