I was watching MSNBC this morning and they were discussing Obama's generation vs the Clinton and Bush's Baby Boomer (1946-1954) generation. I'm in Obama's generation (1955-1964) and it's predicted that with this generational shift in Washington, there will be less partisanship and less rigid ideology than what we saw with the last two baby boomer presidents. Personally, I hope that the dems take the high road and not use this administration to pay back the republicans for 16 years of torture. (We're talking about cultural generations here and not familial generations)
Do you think Obama's generation learned from the mistakes of the Baby Boomers?
