Research shows that women have not adapted to casual sex due to reported negative feelings after one night stands. Findings show that generally women prefer quality to quantity, are motivated by a man's high genetic quality but are more willing to have casual sex when there's a chance of forming a long term relationship (but that is highly unlikely.) Men generally felt better about themselves after casual sex while more women felt "used," which I guess they are if those men were out to simply make themselves feel good and not the woman.
