Saved by the Constitution

According to worldnetdaily.com, Sen Larry Craig could be cleared by the US Constitution because the WND says Article 1: Section 6 "clearly" states no member of Congress can be arrested while traveling to or from official session. Well that's good news for Sen. Craig. Although it seems a little weird that none of the other Senators knew about that and pointed it out. I'm surprised that he didn't call his lawyer when it happened. I don't think most elected officials have any idea what they are actually upholding when they vow to uphold the US Constitution.

I clicked on the link in the article to the US Constitution and it clearly states:
They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
Does foot tapping constitute "Breach of Peace." I don't think so.

Oh what a tangled web we weave....
