We've all seen this before. This is Hello Kitty, created by the Sanrio Corporation in 1974 and unleashed upon an unprepared world. It is iconic of all The Cute Things that we must beware of, lest we all come down with diabetes.Which brings me to what I found on Yahoo News. It seems that the Thai National Police have had it with police officers breaking the law, so in addition to having to pay the fines for littering and such, these macho defenders of the community have to wear Hello Kitty on armbands as a mark of shame.
Not in public, mind you - the top cops aren't THAT cruel.
