Such Lovely People, those Republicans

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) chose fund-raiser Fred Malek as a national finance co-chair for his campaign.

Malek was arrested as a young man for killing, skinning, and barbecuing a dog.

Nixon once asked Malek how many Jews worked in the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

While the congress was out of town, Bushie appointed a Swift Boat funder, Sam Fox, as ambassador to Belgium. He knew that the congress would never appoint him. Furthermore, the legality of the appointment is questioned by Mary Ann Akers of the Washington Post.
