Another one bites the dust

I'm sure his wife was happy to hear that her husband is gay.
"The founding pastor of a second Colorado church has resigned over gay sex allegations, just weeks after the evangelical community was shaken by the scandal surrounding megachurch leader Ted Haggard..."

"... Barnes told church members: "I have struggled with homosexuality since I was a 5-year-old boy. ... I can't tell you the number of nights I have cried myself to sleep, begging God to take this away."" AP
Maybe God doesn't think that whether or not someone is gay is such a big deal in the grand scheme of things or God would have helped him overcome his grave "affliction". It seems that the loudest voices against homosexuality are by those who are "battling" with it. God doesn't want you to hate yourselves. Let it go. The NY Times also has a piece on evangelicals who are "struggling" with their faith and the fact that they are gay.

How do gays undermine the "sanctity" of marriage?
When they marry straight people and live a lie, thus hurting their families deeply when they can't fight nature any longer. Now that's a problem which needs to be addressed.
