It is built. It is paid for. Nations are offering to launch it for free. We need this information to help us survive upcoming climatic changes....so why is it sitting in a box in DC?
Politics perhaps? Fear of science maybe? Or maybe its the realization that the data DSCOVR sends back to us will prove, once and forall, beyond ANY arguement that global warming is real and its dangers are already being felt
