At the Last Chance Democracy Cafe, the question was asked, "Could I Love A Republican?" He is talking about romantic love and a love that you choose, not your relatives who happen to be Republican. I suppose it would all depend on what type of Republican you are talking about. If it's one that doesn't really follow the news, thinks the war in Iraq is wrong and is truly compassionate when it comes to social justice, there's a possibility that a love connection could be made. I find it unlikely that a liberal political newshound and activist could fall for a Faux News watching, Lush Bimbo listener and a Weekly Standard Reader unless that person is also turned on immensely by controversy.
