The good folks of Bulgaria are not hip to Ms. Rice's plan to plop 3 military bases in its territory so they protested. Rice will sign an agreement with the Bulgarian government today anyway. The US is moving bases closer to the Middle East according to WaPo. But naturally, the move is diplomatic because as Rice said earlier this week, "...Iran is not Iraq."
