The BBC polled British Radio4 listeners regarding their favorite philospher. The information is here. Karl Marx got 27.93% of the vote and second place philosopher, David "Why bother?" Hume got 12.67%. Not much of a second place percentage. I never thought of Marx as a philosopher, per se. Maybe an economist with a philosophy that may very well be realized? The results, are causing a bit of a shit storm.
