More news

Since I can't think of anything original to say today and I can't find the hookup cable to my computer to show you the picture of my cat, who just happens to be shaved, I am posting the top stories of the day from our most verbose commenter, Liberal & Proud.

Here's Liberal and Proud:

2 Evangelicals Want to Strip Courts' Funds
Taped at a private conference, the leaders outline ways to punish jurists they oppose.

Also, in one of the discussions on Crooks and Liars yesterday, someone brought up the idea of a march on Washington. I mentioned that I had brought up the idea of a march FOR the Constitution on several blogs over the last month or so. There was alot of positive response. My impression is that something may actually be in the works for the summer.
Would anyone here go?

Found this on the Daily Kos it made me smile this morning.
GOP "nuclear option" internal poll leaked
"Republican strategists concede their efforts to swing public opinion behind their move (to eliminate the filibuster) suffered in the wake of congressional intervention in the case of Terri Schiavo, the brain-damaged woman in Florida who was being kept alive with a feeding tube. The survey suggested the GOP faces a challenge if it hopes to gain significant public support before moving ahead on banning judicial filibusters."

The wheels are falling off the GOP wagon.

America may FINALLY be waking up!

This one's not surprising...Bill Gate's has no real committment to any type of values...just money. TAKE ACTION: Microsoft abandons gays

Oh wait, I thought of something... this is Liz/Blondesense. Has anyone listened to Jerry Springer on Air America? At first I thought that he wouldn't be well received because of his ridiculous TV shows... but he's got an excellent radio show. It's on from 9-12am eastern time. I learned a lot this morning about energy and conservation. So maybe it isn't so ridiculous that he is on liberal radio. Maybe those Hee Haw fans of his will learn something if they listen to his radio show and won't be so quick to vote red next time.
