Talking Points

Here are a couple of the talking points regarding Terri Schiavo's life that were intercepted by ABC News and purportedly written by Senator Frothy Mix's office:

• This is an important moral issue and the pro-life base will be excited that the Senate is debating this important issue.
• This is a great political issue, because Senator Nelson of Florida - has already refused to become a cosponsor and this is a tough issue for Democrats.

It's perfectly clear. This isn't about the woman. It's because these dirtbags are worried about the elections of 2006. They got the brain dead vote in the last election but they know darn well that they delivered nothing they promised. They didn't want all the anti-war protests to make the news over the weekend either. What to do ? What to do? They're pretending to care about a poor brain dead woman in order to perk up the brain dead voters/base.

I don't know what I think about this story. I wish I didn't have to know about it. It's a private thing. I can't make judgement based on a video of the poor woman. Who am I to judge anyway? I had to sign a DNR for my dad and I don't even want to think about it. I'm sure it's terribly hard to deal with this if it's your child. Your beautiful child. I don't know what I'd do. At this point, starving Terri to death seems cruel. Keeping her alive seems cruel. I have no answers but the politicians can all go rot in hell for all I care. the bastards.
