It's interesting how
Amnesty International claims that the US has proven "bankrupt of vision and bereft of principle" in its fight against terrorism and invasion of Iraq. AI has a lot of countries to complain about and the US, once the model of decency is right up there on the top of the list of human rights violators since Mr Bush took office. Thanks Mr Bush. Well it's no wonder. We are barely hanging on to being a democracy. Democracies generally do fall victim to fascist dictactorships if we read our history books.
My friend Billydoom over at
Doomocracy has this and more to say about Corporatism, human rights and the seeping of fascism into a capitalistic society:
Corporatism views human rights of little value and a hindrance to realizing the objectives of the ruling elite. Through clever use of propaganda, the population is brought to accept these human rights abuses by marginalizing, even demonizing, those being targeted. The tactic is to use secrecy, denial and disinformation. -American Fascism
