A Day in the Life

I watched the news last night, Oh Boy
About some Iraqi's we degrade
And oh the news was very sad
Well I just couldn't laugh.
I saw the the photographs.

I saw the News Today Oh Boy
The US media wants to hide the war
A crowd of people turned away
But I just had to look
Having read read the book
I'd love to turn you on.

Woke up, fell out of bed,
Found myself feeling dread.
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.

Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
A newsman spoke and I went into a dream

Aaaaaaaaah!!!!!

I read the news today oh boy
Thousands of holes in military strategy.
And though the holes holes were rather small
They couldn't count them all.
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall.
