Update Thursday March 4th:
The Southern Poverty Law Center just released a report,
Rage on the Right
Americans have many good reasons to be enraged at what our government is doing. Our tax money is indeed being pissed away by making bankers, war contractors and politicians very wealthy at the expense of the actual tax payers. Unfortunately the lies being disseminated on main stream media and the public airwaves are undermining the issues that truly need to be dealt with. People are protesting things that aren't happening or aren't going to happen. That is the strategy of the PTB who are organizing these protests.Excerpt: But last year, as noted in the SPLC’s August report, "The Second Wave: Return of the Militias," a dramatic resurgence in the Patriot movement and its paramilitary wing, the militias, began. Now, the latest SPLC count finds that an astonishing 363 new Patriot groups appeared in 2009, with the totals going from 149 groups (including 42 militias) to 512 (127 of them militias) — a 244% jumpThat is cause for grave concern. Individuals associated with the Patriot movement during its 1990s heyday produced an enormous amount of violence, most dramatically the Oklahoma City bombing that left 168 people dead.
As the movement has exploded, so has the reach of its ideas, aided and abetted by commentators and politicians in the ostensible mainstream. While in the 1990s, the movement got good reviews from a few lawmakers and talk-radio hosts, some of its central ideas today are being plugged by people with far larger audiences like FOX News’ Glenn Beck and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn). Beck, for instance, re-popularized a key Patriot conspiracy theory — the charge that FEMA is secretly running concentration camps — before finally “debunking” it.
Terms like "fascist" and "socialist" are being tossed about with reckless abandon. Undereducated Americans don't even know what those terms mean, but they sound scary enough to form fear based, hateful militias. Obama is no more fascist or socialist than Bush. It's the same old, same old... it's because he's black that Americans are freaking out.
There's a Second Amendment March coming up in DC soon. Interestingly, there is no indication anywhere on record that the government plans on making packing heat illegal. There's no anti-gun legislation on the table. The gun control activists actually gave Obama an F. So as you can see, the so called populist uprising is all a smoke screen.

I just listened to Lush Bimbo rail against "Mullah" Nancy "bin" Pelosi and compare her to bin Laden and a suicide bomber. Bimbo said that she's no different than mullah's who strap bombs on children and send them out to blow things up.
What was behind this outrage? Pelosi suggested over the weekend that congresspeople should worry more about passing healthcare reform than keeping their jobs. This also somehow this relates to Charlie Rangel stepping down from his position as chairman of the house and ways committee. And the rant also relates to Pelosi's dislike for Senator Bunning, the filibuster obstructionist of the century. She must be a terrorist if she doesn't like him.
It is no wonder that so many Americans who listen to this garbage or live/work with people who listen to this garbage are completely batshit paranoid. While not directly calling for Americans to harm Nancy Pelosi, he sure gives the most unstable among us fodder for doing something unspeakable.
Meanwhile Rep Michelle Bachmann called for a revolution on the public airwaves because of Obama's cap and trade plan. She was especially pissed because the bill addresses global warming and she doesn't "believe" in it. (I also suspect that she doesn't even understand the bill or even read it.) Bachmann could have just said that the bill sucks and why but no, she clearly incited violence:
Hey Michelle, can you spell S E D I T I O N ?BACHMANN: And really now in Washington, I’m a foreign correspondent in enemy lines. And I try to keep everyone back here in Minnesota know exactly the nefarious activities that are taking place in Washington. [...]
I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, having a revolution every now and then is a good thing, and the people — we the people — are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.
