And yet another GOP addition to the health care reform bill that sucks

Did you know that 250 million bucks was buried in the health care reform bill for abstinence only education? Previously, only 150 million was spent on abstinence only sex education. (Way to go Dems.) It's been proven that it doesn't work and isn't based on fact or science. It does not reduce AIDS, STDs, abortions or teen pregnancy. Like all "faith based" initiatives, it's a tool the GOP uses to get dumb people to vote for them because there aren't enough rich voters to get Republicans elected.

This was forced into the bill by the GOP who didn't vote for the bill anyway. So far there are 2 crappy things in the health care bill that were thrust upon the legislation by Republicans and the stupid Democrats fell for it.

Memo to Democratic lawmakers- the religious types are never going to vote for you anyway and you're just pissing off your base.

All the conservative whining is turning boring now. I don't even make popcorn, turn on the cable news and watch their heads explode anymore. yawn.

Bill Maher summed it up so nicely on Friday night's episode of Real Time:

New Rule: You can't use the statement "there will be no cooperation for the rest of the year" as a threat if there was no cooperation in the first half of the year.

Here's a word the president should take out of his teleprompter: bipartisanship. People only care about that in theory, not in practice. The best thing that's happened this year is when President Obama finally realized this and said, "Kiss my black ass, we're going it alone, George W. Bush style.".
