I've been watching CNN's coverage of town hall meetings happening around the country. My favorite one was in Portsmouth, NH where Obama answered questions and skepticism from the audience. He explained things pretty well and allayed the fears of those who actually believed the jibberish and lies spewed forth by the corporate media, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman and GOP congresscritters.
Other town hall meetings around the country were marked by complete rudeness coming from the very misinformed who believe everything sent to them in conspiratorial emails that probably emanated from GOP operatives and those in the private health care industry. It's pretty sad. Arlen Specter's audience in Pennsylvania was clearly the winner when it came to the most outrageous and maniacal questions from the audience.
Wouldn't it be nice if the journalists actually told it like it is and would challenge liars?
