Did this past weekend prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Harold Ickes (pronounced Ick-ees) has a name that suits him to a tee?
A reminder of some interesting times in the last Clinton White House, when Ickes was charged with cleaning up messes, while trading access to the President for campaign contributions.
Look, this man was a hero who literally was beaten during the Civil Rights movement so severely he lost a kidney.
My view: somewhere along the way he lost any moral compass he had, and it became about winning at all costs. That makes me sad.
