No Nukes In Iran Confirmed.

NIE Report: Iran halted nuclear weapons program -- years ago

Four years ago.

In fact, it was known months ago that Iran had stopped it nuclear weapons program but Bush was told to not stop talking about Iran's nuclear weapons program by Steven Hadley. With this news coming to the light of day, the bushistas claim that they won't stop their strategy of "applying intensified international pressure on Iran."

So will they still insist on pointing missiles at Iran from Europe? Something that Putin was very much against? How about sanctions? Sure, why not. The US is still claiming that while Iran's intentions of not pursuing nuclear weapons is true, that doesn't mean that they won't change their minds.

What nuclear issue? They are still spinning Iran as if this news doesn't mean anything.
At a White House briefing, Hadley flatly denied any escalation in US rhetoric on Iran and insisted that the NIE proved that "we have the right strategy" of stepping up international pressure.

"The bottom line is that for that strategy to succeed, the international community has to turn up the pressure on Iran with diplomatic isolation, United Nations sanctions and with other financial pressure. And Iran has to decide that it wants to negotiate a solution," he said.
Why not just concentrate on fixing the clusterfucks in Afghanistan and Iraq and gracefully go into oblivion with the rest of the GOP?
