Randi Rhodes on C-span today

Randi Rhodes was on C-span this afternoon during their anniversary special. There was another woman whose name I don’t care about but she has a right wing radio show. First time I had ever seen Randi and of course she is one of my favs. She was talking about the president’s repeal of the Davis Bacon Act in the aftermath of Katrina. The other woman was laughing and shaking her head and pretty much saying that what Randi was saying was hogwash. So Randi asked this woman wasn’t it true that the repeal of the act happened. The woman said words, but she wouldn’t answer. Then Randi mentioned the time that Sensenbrenner turned off the microphones during the hearing so the Democrats couldn’t be heard. The other woman said, "Talk about conspiracy theories". Randi said we all saw it on C-span and the other woman began a witchy kind of laughing.

So the show goes on and again Randi asked the woman wasn’t it true about bush’s repealing of the Davis Bacon Act. Like a blonde pit bulldog she kept after this other woman. Finally the woman said she would have to check the "books" to see if it was true. This woman didn’t even know what the hell she was talking about on two hot topics.

And there my sweet children is the difference between the two sides. One side speaks in facts and from knowledge while the other side speaks in spin and ignorance and ideology.

Bottom line is that Randi Rhodes knew her shit and the other woman was just full of it.
