Playtime is the Right’s Time
A caller said something on C-span this morning that caused me to think that perhaps he was right. The caller said that as the attacks of 9-11 were happening, bush’s facial expressions in that classroom and the aftermath of his being flown all over the country on the premise that Air Force One was a target, led him to believe that bush was being kept in the dark about what was really happening. He said he felt the same about the event the other week when the infamous bike-riding caper was underway as the white house was being evacuated. Bush wasn’t notified until after the “event”. Perhaps he is just a stooge and really is clueless about the true networking of the neo cons. Maybe he really is just a figurehead, sans the head.
This would also explain why he and Cheney had to testify together before the 9-11 commission, but not under oath. Why wouldn’t the president of the United States testify under oath regarding the worse attack ever on American soil? Either they were afraid he would say something really stupid or else they were afraid some truth might slip out due to his ignorance. I mean, whose side is he on anyway? Wouldn’t he want to speak under oath to do anything he could to help the commission discover what happened that day and how we could avoid such attacks in the future? Wouldn’t you? Unless, of course, someone was directing you and they knew you were incapable of answering the questions truthfully. If you depended on this person for all the accomplishments you had, you might want them to help you one more time. No matter what the reason he and Cheney wouldn’t testify under oath nor allow the commission to take notes during their testimony, there is no good and sensible reason for what they did, and did not do.
Little wonder about half the country voted for bush last election, they identify with him. They see him as someone just like themselves. He’s ill informed, incapable of enunciating half his words, he shows no curiosity or intellect, and yet he is President of The United States. What they don’t see is that he is nothing more than an ignorant, irresponsible rich kid who has been allowed to have nannies to accompany him through life. The nannies have done all the dirty work and convinced the boy that he may take the credit for something good. They are following their own agenda as the boy plays. After his playtime of reading children’s books or riding his bike, they tell him he has accomplished some great and wonderful deeds. The boy, due to his lack of intellect and interest, never questions what has happened. He is too busy gloating over his supposed and assumed accomplishments.
How long will the nannies use this boy? Will there come a time when he is no longer useful to them and their agenda? What will happen to him then? If they totally abandon him he could become dangerous to them, just as he could have been a threat if he had spoken candidly to the 9-11 Commission alone and under oath. Must they tend to him all his life? What of the boy’s future once he is no longer playing at the white house. They can’t afford the threat he poses, can they? What happens when bush’s playtime is no longer needed by the Right?
