Your editorial contains these comments: "The result is a larger deer population grazing in our yards; ultimately this population must peak, resulting in disease or starvation. Certainly this raises the ethical question whether allowing such slow and painful deaths is humane..."

And your question raises another question: Does causing 500,000 deaths by enforced sanctions against Iraq in the 1990s by the United States create similar ethical questions? source:
